Ed Davey is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Kingston and Surbiton since 1997. He is currently the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change in the coalition government.

Davey was born in London and studied politics at the University of York. He worked as a special adviser to the Liberal Democrat leader Paddy Ashdown before being elected to Parliament in 1997.
