Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. It is the most common cancer in women, and the second most common cancer overall.

Symptoms of breast cancer can include a lump in the breast, a change in the size or shape of the breast, or a discharge from the nipple. However, many women with breast cancer do not have any of these symptoms.
