The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is an independent, statutory body established by the UK government to advise on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for the impacts of climate change.

The CCC’s mission is to provide advice to the UK government on how to meet its legally binding targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and to ensure that the UK is prepared for the impacts of climate change.
